ARTdeSUISSE Luzern 2026
Autumn edition
Rolf Stocker Born in Sursee in 1954, he has lived and worked in Lucerne for many years. He has been working as a freelance artist since 1999. His diverse body of work encompasses painting and photography and ranges from the abstract to the figurative. Light and colour are central to his visual language; he compares their interplay to the structure of music.
Using oil, acrylic and experimental techniques, Stocker creates intense colour fields, abstract landscapes and figurative compositions of atmospheric depth. Photography also broadens his perspective on light, composition and perspective. His works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland over many years. With his painting „TIGER“ was appointed Rolf Stocker Gewinner der ARTdeSUISSE Luzern – Herbstausgabe 2026 the winner.
